Sony State of Play June 4 banner

It’s that time again—game publishers are lining up their summer showcases, and Sony is officially joining the party. The company has announced a new State of Play set for tomorrow, June 4.

Sony’s State of Play will be livestreamed tomorrow, June 4th

The stream goes live Wednesday at 2 PM PT / 5 PM ET / 11 PM CEST on Sony’s YouTube and Twitch channels. Unlike some past events, this one will be English-only.

Sony says the show will feature “a selection of great games from creators across the globe,” all heading to PS5. No lineup has been revealed yet, but a few titles are already on fans’ radars.

Ghost of Yotei, Wolverine, and maybe more PC ports?

We could see updates on Ghost of Yotei, the rumored new project from Ghost of Tsushima developer Sucker Punch. Marathon, from Bungie, is also a likely candidate. And of course, Insomniac’s upcoming Wolverine game—set in its Spider-Man universe—might finally make an appearance.

Sony’s got multiple live service titles in the works too, and it’s been steadily expanding to PC. That means we might get new ports or cross-platform surprises as part of its multiplatform push.

Once Sony wraps, things won’t slow down. Summer Game Fest kicks off later this week, followed by Microsoft’s Xbox Games Showcase and a deeper dive into The Outer Worlds 2 from Obsidian.
