If you’re trying to use Microsoft Forms and running into issues, you’re not the only one. Microsoft has confirmed an ongoing outage that’s preventing some users from accessing the service. The issue is being tracked under ID FM1109073, and updates are being posted in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
The company first acknowledged the problem on its official Microsoft 365 Status X account, saying, “We’re investigating an issue where some users may be unable to access the Microsoft Forms service.”
As of now, the Service Health portal still shows “all systems operational,” but that’s expected to change soon. Reddit users on the r/sysadmin subreddit are also reporting issues, particularly in Belgium, Germany, and the Netherlands, suggesting this may be a broader regional or possibly global disruption.
Microsoft Forms is part of the Microsoft 365 suite and is commonly used in workplaces and schools for quick polls, quizzes, and data collection. The outage is affecting organizations that rely on real-time feedback and collaboration tools across Teams, Excel, and SharePoint.
Not to forget, last month, Microsoft 365 also faced a significant outage impacting multiple services, but that incident was resolved within a few hours. At the time of writing this, Microsoft updated on X that “Impact associated with FM1109073 has been remediated, please look in the admin center for more details.”
